How to care for your floral arrangement!

With the right love and care, your flowers can continue to blossom for a very long time!!!

1. Chose a vase that best suits your floral arrangement.

2. Clean your vase thoroughly. Any lingering bacteria will make your flowers wilt faster.

3. Fill the vase two-thirds with fresh, lukewarm water and add your flower food. Cool water is preferred, as warm water will travel up the stems faster and accelerate the blooming process.

4. Top up the water the day after receiving your flowers, rather than changing it completely – this way, they benefit from the food for longer.

5. Remove any foliage that will sit below the waterline to avoid build-up of debris. If your flowers include roses, you may notice some discolored outer petals. These are guard petals, which protect the inner petals. Gently remove 2 to 3 guard petals.

6. After you have unwrapped your bouquet, cut the stems at a 45-degree angle. We recommend using shears if you have them to ensure a cleaner cut.Trim the stems every couple days.

7. Change the water regularly after the second day. Flowers are a lot like humans — they need to stay hydrated.

8. Keep your flowers out of direct sunlight to prolong their life.

9. Remove any wilted flowers. Besides not looking as attractive, they can spread mould onto the other flowers.
